• Elizabeth a mangé de la pizza avec sa famille et des sandwichs avec ses amis. Elle a mangé à la maison.

• Colter a mangé de la pizza avec sa famille et ses amis aussi. Il a bu du coca à la maison.

Forming sentences using le passé composé:

We have only been learning how to form sentences using le passé composé with the ER verbs, they are converted in the same way most of the time. 98% of the time, these words with Avoir, while a few others with Être.

Let's take the sentence "Je regarde la télé," which translates to "I'm watching the TV." To turn it into passé composé, you'll have to conjugate avoir with Je. Therefore you will start your setence with J'ai. Since regarder is one of the ER verbs, all you need to do is to add an é at the end of regarder. Then you'll end up with a final product that reads "J'ai regardé la télé," which literally translates to "I have watched the TV." This rule only applies to verbs that end with ER.

Evaluation:

In this assignment, I had to go around the class and ask my friends what they ate and drank during the weekend, and where they went as well. While jotting down my friends' answers in full sentences, I learned to apply the stuff we have been learning in the past month, although I did made tons of mistake the first time I did it. It took me a couple of practices before getting the oral part right, I think this oral video is my best one yet.

Our sentence patterns in the dialog were pretty short and straight forward compared to others. We purposely wanted the conversation to be authentic as possible, as if Colter and I are eating lunch during our break, so that we would want to be back in the office as fast as possible. We had no problem while writing down the script on paper, although I think I could improve more on my French accent. Overall, I think the group did an excellent job!

Nous avons fait un dialogue petit, parce que nos structure de phrases est tres direct. Nous avons voulu le dialogue etre aussie authentique possible. Si Colter et moi sont adultes, nous voulons retourner au bureau a bientôt. Nous n'avons pas probleme avec ecriture, mais j'ai essayé améliorer mon accent Francais. Ensemble, je pense que nous avons fait bon!
